Is this the season Perth Glory rise up the standings?
After back-to-back wooden spoons, Perth head into 2025-26 with renewed optimism and fresh faces as David Zdrilic looks to bounce back from a difficult campaign.
A heavy first-round defeat stunned the Glory in 2024-25 and they never recovered but there were plenty of learnings to emerge and take away into a new season.
Perth already boast captain and Socceroo Adam Taggart, Glory have gone about solidifying their defence with popular Vanuatu captain Brian Kaltak, former Manchester United centre-back Scott Wootton and New Zealand international Sam Sutton. If that was not enough, they have recruited talented midfielder Rhys Bozinovski after his breakout season and attackers Jaiden Kucharski and Arion Sulemani.
While Oli Sail has returned to New Zealand, they have lured Mark Birighitti back to the competition.
