Perth Glory winger Lachlan Wales has signed a one-year extension with the club, after arriving on a short-term deal midway through the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
Wales made six appearances for Glory in his first stint in the West before an injury in March kept him sidelined for the final six rounds of the campaign.

The 27-year-old with 178 games of Isuzu UTE A-League experience has recommitted to the club for the 2025-26 campaign, joining young midfielder Trent Ostler as the second player to re-sign for the club since the end of the regular season.
An Isuzu UTE A-League Champion with Western United in 2022, Wales has been backed by Glory football director Stan Lazaridis to make a big contribution in 2025-26 after his first full pre-season at the club.
“Even though he’s only been with us for a short period of time, Lachie has already become a big favourite with our Members and fans, and it’s not hard to see why,” Lazaridis said.
“He’s quick and direct, versatile enough to fill a number of attacking roles and provides great delivery from wide areas.
“With a full pre-season under his belt, we’re confident that he’ll be firing on all cylinders come Round 1 and will re-establish himself as one of the most exciting attacking talents in the A-League.”
