Back-to-back Championships for Melbourne City? That will be the aim in 2025-26.
The defending champions are the team to beat after reigning supreme last season – their second Isuzu UTE A-League Championship.
Aurelio Vidmar’s side are also in the AFC Champions League Elite as they eye a last-16 spot for the first time in their history.
While they have also brought in internationals Takeshi Kanamori and Elbasan Rashani, City have promoted from within, handing maiden professional contracts to 15-year-old prodigy Akeem Gerald and young gun Beckham Baker. Two players to watch this season.
Re-signed: Alessandro Lopane, Samuel Souprayen, Max Caputo, Harry Shillington
