Melbourne City star Daniela Galic has been crowned 2023-24 Boost Young Footballer of the Year in the Liberty A-League.
Galic has flourished en route to Saturday’s Grand Final against Sydney FC and the City young gun was among six nominees for the award, which was decided by a panel and fan vote.
The 17-year-old sensation beat Georgia Cassidy (Perth Glory), Alana Murphy (Melbourne Victory), Maddie Caspers (Sydney FC), Peta Trimis (Central Coast Mariners) and Emma Dundas (Newcastle Jets) to this season’s honour following her nomination in November.
