The CommBank Young Matildas have been crowned PacificAus Four Nations Tournament champions thanks to their 5-2 win over Thailand in Canberra.
Australia’s Under-20 side, stacked with Ninja A-League prospects, reigned supreme after coming from behind twice to see off Thailand courtesy of a hat-trick from Western Sydney Wanderers sensation and Golden Boot winner Sienna Saveska.

Saveska’s three-goal haul, including goal of the tournament – a strike from Sydney FC’s Caley Tallon-Henniker and an own goal ensured the unbeaten Young Matildas finished three points clear atop the table with nine points, ahead of second-placed Thailand.

Western Sydney’s 18-year-old gun Saveska scored six goals for the tournament to top the Golden Boot charts in the nation’s capital.
The triumphant Young Matildas squad was full of A-Leagues talents, with the 26-player roster featuring 25 from the domestic competition.
