Georgia Yeoman-Dale (Western Sydney Wanderers)

Round 9 v Melbourne City

Yeoman-Dale scored the first Westfield W-League goal of 2019 and this New Year’s Day effort was one to remember.

Running onto a through ball from Leena Khamis, Yeoman-Dale spied City goalkeeper Lydia Williams off her line and curled a first-time curling effort past the Westfield Matildas No.1 from 25 yards.

Caitlin Foord (Sydney FC)

Round 11 v Western Sydney Wanderers

The Westfield Matildas striker did it all on her own on this occasion, producing a mazy run that had the Wanderers defence nervous.

She then beat Maruschka Waldus with a piece of individual brilliance before firing an unstoppable 20-yard effort into the back of the net.

Erica Halloway (Western Sydney Wanderers)

Round 12 v Adelaide United

Stoppage time approached in this clash and the Wanderers were holding a one-goal lead.

Halloway showed no sign of trying to waste any time, though, producing a fine dink that crashed into the back of the net from 20 yards.

Yuki Nagasato (Brisbane Roar)

Round 13 v Canberra United

Back off Nagasato and let her shoot and you might just pay the price, as Canberra United did on this occasion.

The Japanese legend weaved her way towards the edge of the penalty area and made the most of Canberra’s hands-off defending by curling in from distance.
