The teams are IN ahead of Round 23 of the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
League leaders Auckland FC welcome two-time Isuzu UTE A-League Champion Dan Hall back for the first time since Round 7 following. an ankle break in December.
Hall played in seven-consecutive wins to begin his first season at the Black Knights; his return for Auckland’s Round 23 clash with Central Coast Mariners – Hall’s former side – comes at the perfect time as fellow central defender Nando Pijnaker and star midfielder Louis Verstraete sit out the trip to Gosford due to respective suspensions.
Verstraete received a straight red card in Auckland’s last fixture against Newcastle Jets, while Pijnaker picked up his fifth yellow card of the season, resulting in a one-game ban.
Around the grounds, Adelaide United welcome veteran midfielder Isaías back from a hamstring injury, while the Mariners are boosted by the inclusion of midfielder Alfie McCalmont and striker Alou Kuol for Saturday’s clash with Auckland. Meanwhile, Young Socceroos Jaylan Pearman (Perth Glory) and Tiago Quintal (Sydney FC) have been named for their first Isuzu UTE A-League appearances since winning the Under-20 Asian Cup.
