Western Sydney Wanderers v Adelaide United
Friday, 7.50pm (AEDT)
The Wanderers return home on Friday and must still be wondering how they didn’t come away with something against Perth Glory over the weekend.
Without star men Alex Baumjohann and Oriol Riera, the youthful Wanderers went down 4-3 but must have taken confidence from the way they performed against the league-leaders.
New recruit Kwame Yeboah, with a goal and assist against Glory, looms as their key man against an Adelaide United side also hurting from a last-start loss.

The Reds lost 2-1 against Sydney FC on Sunday and will want to bounce back quickly to keep some space between themselves and the chasing pack.
Sixth-placed Adelaide (19 points) are 10 clear of the eight-placed Wanderers (9 points), making this a huge clash in the battle for the finals spots, especially for the hosts.

Sydney FC v Newcastle Jets
Saturday, 5.35pm (AEDT)
The Sky Blues will be out to build on their dramatic 2-1 win over Adelaide United on Sunday, which kept them on the heels of table-topping Glory.
Steve Corica’s side had keeper Andrew Redmayne to thank for preserving their lead, meaning they are six points off top spot heading into this one at Jubilee Stadium, where they have won three on the bounce.

Newcastle are coming off a heart-breaking 2-1 loss to Melbourne Victory, meaning they have plenty of work to do to get back in finals reckoning.
The two sides played out an entertaining 1-1 draw when they met earlier this season at McDonald Jones Stadium.
How to watch: Tune in to FOX SPORTS 505 to catch Sydney’s battle with the Jets, which kicks off at 5:35pm (AEDT). You can also stream it live on the MyFootball Live App.
Melbourne City v Perth Glory
Saturday, 7.50pm (AEDT)
This has all the prospects to be an absolute ripper. Depending on how City go in their midweek clash against the Mariners, Warren Joyce’s men could be six points behind Glory heading into this clash.
In fact, heading into their Tuesday clash in Gosford, City are on a five-game unbeaten run, with their last loss having come against Perth way back in Round 7.
But while City have been in excellent nick, Glory are simply riding high and scoring plenty of goals in doing so.
The amazing come-from-behind 4-3 win over the Wanderers on Sunday means Tony Popovic’s troops have scored 15 goals in their last four matches.

Melbourne Victory v Wellington Phoenix
Sunday, 5pm (AEDT)
An in-form Roy Krishna and his all-conquering Phoenix will have no fear as they come to AAMI Park to take on the Hyundai A-League Champions.
Phoenix are oozing confidence right now off the back of an eight-game unbeaten run, including last weekend’s incredible come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Mariners.
And Krishna has been a key part of Wellington’s charge, contributing four goals in his last two appearances.

But Victory are always tough to beat at home and can ill afford to drop any more points in their quest to chase down Perth.
With James Troisi, Ola Toivonen and Terry Antonis running riot, they’ll fancy their chances of picking up all three points in this ‘Super Sunday’ encounter.

Central Coast Mariners v Brisbane Roar
Sunday, 7pm (AEDT)
A huge three points is up for grabs in Gosford as the Hyundai A-League’s two bottom clubs fight it out for a morale-boosting victory.
Depending on how they both go in their midweek clashes, the Mariners and Roar could head into this one with just one win between them for the entire season.
So you can be sure they’ll both go all out for maximum points as they look to kick-start what they hope will be a better second-half of the 2018/19 Season.
When they met back in the opening round of the campaign, it finished 1-1 at Suncorp Stadium.
