Perth Glory have confirmed 19-year-old forward Jaylan Pearman is set to depart the Isuzu UTE A-League club, as one of five players whose contract will expire at the end of June.
The teenager is expected to join EFL Championship club Queens Park Rangers in England ahead of the 2025-26 season, where he’ll reconnect with fellow Glory academy product Daniel Bennie, who joined QPR after his debut campaign at Glory in 2023-24.

A product of the club’s academy, Pearman debuted for the senior side in January and went on to make 12 league appearances and score four goals under head coach David Zdrilic.
Pearman ended the season on a high with the April/May nomination for Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year, and won the Shark Player of the Month award for April/May after a fan vote.
At the club’s Most Glorious Player Awards in early May, Pearman was honoured with the DT38 Young Player of the Year award for his standout first season in the senior squad.
Glory CEO Anthony Radich wished the departing quintet well for the future, while vice-chairman Jason Bontempo reserved special thanks to Pearman and Warland, two of Perth’s academy products set to pursue new experiences next season.
“On behalf of the club, I would like to sincerely thank these players for the contribution they have made to the club on and off the field this year and in some cases, for a number of seasons,” Radich said.
“They will always be highly regarded here at Perth Glory and we wish them all the very best for the future.”
“A special mention to Jaylan and Riley who both developed through the Perth Glory Academy from juniors to professional players,” added Glory vice-chairman Bontempo.
“As their respective football journeys continue elsewhere, we wish them all the very best.”
