Adelaide United have confirmed on Wednesday that Championship-winning coach Guillermo Amor will leave the club.

Amor, who has been with the Reds for three seasons, advised chairman Greg Griffin of his decision to step down on Wednesday.
The Spanish boss joined the club as its Technical Director for the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 campaign, where he worked closely with Josep Gombau.
Amor then took over as coach ahead of the 2015/16 Season and – in his first senior coaching role – guided the Reds to an historic Hyundai A-League Premiership-Championship double.
It has been reported Amor will return to his homeland but the ex-Spain international has long been considered a candidate for Melbourne City, who are also looking for a new coach.
Amor came up through the youth ranks at Barcelona before making his senior debut in 1988 and he went on to play over 300 La Liga matches for the club, while also spending time at Fiorentina and Villarreal.
United have already commenced a recruitment process to appoint a new coach and hope to have a new man in charge by mid-June before they begin their pre-season schedule.
