The A-Leagues have today launched the ‘Football Starts Here’ initiative as tickets go on sale for the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

Tickets are now on sale for select matches from every club competing in the Isuzu Ute A-League 2026/27 season, as the countdown continues to Matchweek 1.
With a blockbuster opening month in the Isuzu UTE A-League, fans can now secure tickets for select fixtures including the highly anticipated Sydney Derby season opener, the Melbourne Derby in Matchweek 2, and the New Zealand Derby in Matchweek 4.
The A-Leagues has also launched a new, league-wide ticketing campaign called ‘Football Starts Here’ with the aim of making the competition Australia and New Zealand’s most accessible professional sport.
‘Football Starts Here’ will provide a consistent, entry level price point for families, with a limited number of $25 Adult, $5 Junior and $50 Family (2 Adult, 2 Junior) tickets available for every Isuzu UTE A-League 2026/27 regular season match*.
The initiative gives new and existing fans an affordable way to experience the Isuzu UTE A-League this season, with limited ‘Football Starts Here’ tickets available across every match of the regular season.
Fans can find their match via the A-Leagues Ticket Hub, with links directly to the relevant ticketing platform to purchase.
This season will also see the A-Leagues’ inaugural Grassroots Celebration over Matchweeks 19 and 20 that celebrates the lifeblood of Australian and New Zealand football as the league continues to connect with football’s number one participation base.

The celebration will see a range of initiatives to engage and reward local grassroots participants, coaches and volunteers including matchday activities, prizes and ticket offers.
The 2026/27 season will kick off on Friday, October 16 with the Sydney Derby between Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers.
The new campaign will be played across 28 matchweeks, with two split matchweeks in December and February, that will see each club play 26 games – a full slate of home-and-away matches, plus four additional third-match up fixtures.

The Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final will be played on the weekend of 3-6 June, 2027.
MATCHWEEK 1 FIXTURES
Following the Friday night blockbuster between Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers at Allianz Stadium, champions Auckland FC kick off a Super Saturday when they host Melbourne City at Go Media Stadium at 3pm AEST/5pm NZT.
Attention will then turn to Campbelltown where Macarthur Bulls will host Perth Glory at 5pm AEST, before reigning premiers Newcastle Jets travel down the old F3 Freeway to face bitter rivals Central Coast Mariners at polytec Stadium, with kick off at 7:40pm AEST.
On Sunday, Wellington Phoenix start their campaign with a home clash at Hnry Stadium where they will face off against Melbourne Victory at 1pm AEST/3pm NZT.
Brisbane Roar will wrap up Matchweek 1 a trip to South Australia to face Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium, in a game that is currently scheduled to kick off 3pm AEST/2:30pm ACST, although that timing is subject to change due to Adelaide’s AFL Champions League Two commitments.

BROADCAST INFORMATION
Paramount ANZ remains the exclusive home of the A-Leagues, with every Isuzu UTE A-League match available live on Paramount+. While this season one match per week will be broadcast free-to-air on Network 10, with marquee games on Network 10’s primary channel, 10 – elevating the marquee matches to a new broader audience.
In New Zealand, Sky is the exclusive home of the Isuzu UTE A-League, with all matches broadcast live on Sky Sport and streamed live and on demand on Sky Sport Now and Sky Go. Selected A-League games will also be available to watch free-to-air on Sky Open & ThreeNow.
