Go Media Stadium capacity increased for 2025 Isuzu UTE A-League Finals Series: Details

In partnership with Go Media Stadium and Auckland FC, the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has increased the capacity of Go Media Stadium for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025 Finals Series.

    Following strong early demand for tickets to the Black Knights’ semi-final second leg on May 24, the APL has added 2,700 seats to the north end of Go Media Stadium giving more fans the chance to see their side in action.

    Furthermore, an extra 800 seats will be added to the venue if Auckland FC progress through to the Grand Final given Steve Corica’s side will have therefore earned the right to host the showpiece event on May 31.

    “The fans in Auckland, and across the league, have been fantastic this season. As it stands, weʼre on track to record the highest attended season since 2016/17,” said A-Leagues Executive Chair, Hon. Stephen Conroy.

    “As we enter an exciting month of A-Leagues action, itʼs great to be able to increase the overall capacity at Go Media Stadium for the 2025 Finals Series to give more fans the chance to see their team in action.

    “Credit to all involved at Auckland FC for the momentum they’ve built, and a huge shout out to their growing fan base, for the passion and connection they’ve shown to the club in their first season.Ë®

    Auckland FC have enjoyed incredible home support at Go Media Stadium in their inaugural season with the Isuzu UTE A-League seeing a 9% growth in overall attendance year-on-year.

    Furthermore, this weekend is set to surpass 1.5m total fans through the gates for the first time since 2018/19 as the Finals Series officially gets underway with two blockbuster Elimination Finals.

        Enjoying a spectacular debut campaign, Steve Corica’s side head into the Finals Series looking to complete an incredible double in their first season having already sealed the Premiership.

        As Premiers, Auckland FC will play the lowest placed Elimination Final winner in a two-legged Semi Final, with the first leg away, before the return leg at Go Media Stadium on Saturday 24 May.

        The highest placed team from the regular season that wins through from the Semi Finals, will earn the right to host the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025 Grand Final on Saturday 31 May.

        Western United host Adelaide United at Ironbark Fields on Friday May 9 before Western Sydney Wanderers go head-to-head with Melbourne Victory at CommBank Stadium on Saturday May 10 to battle it out for a spot in the semi-finals.
