Sydney FC announced the departure of striker Patryk Klimala following the conclusion of his loan deal with the Isuzu UTE A-League club.
Klimala looks set to return to parent side and Polish top-flight outfit Slask Wroclaw after his season-long loan stint in Sydney.

The former Celtic and New York Red Bulls frontman scored 17 goals across all competitions, including 11 in the A-Leagues as the Sky Blues missed out on the top six and reached an historic AFC Champions League Two semi-final.

“Sydney FC wishes to thank Patryk Klimala for his contribution in Sky Blue during his season long loan,” the club said via social media.
“It’s been a pleasure and we have had some great memories along the way.
“We look forward to seeing what happens next.”

The 26-year-old Klimala was only two goals shy of team-mate and joint-Golden Boot winner Adrian Segecic at the end of the 2024-25 Isuzu UTE A-League regular season.
Klimala also scored in two Sydney Derby showdowns this season as the Sky Blues won 4-2 in November before a 3-3 draw in February.

“I could say a lot but words can hardly describe how much I appreciate the time spent here,” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to the team, the coaches, and the fans for everything I experienced.
“I was incredibly lucky to play for such a great club like Sydney, and I will never forget how much you helped me in my career.
“Thank you for everything you have done for me. SYDNEY IS SKY BLUE.”
