Melbourne Victory have made significant moves in the transfer window to bolster a squad looking to go one better in two departments: to rise from second to first and clinch the 2025-26 Premiership, and to bury the demons of a Grand Final loss to Central Coast Mariners and seal the Championship title.

They’re lofty ambitions – but that’s how it’s always been for a club in relentless pursuit of silverware.

In the off-season, Victory lost three CommBank Matildas – Emily Gielnik, Alex Chidiac and Alana Murphy – but it says a lot about their recruiting power that Jeff Hopkins’ side returns arguably stronger than before thanks to the arrival of Ninja A-League stars Taylor Ray, Sienna Saveska, Chelsea Blissett, Rhianna Pollicina and Grace Maher.

All the pieces are in place for Victory to have another swing at trophies and titles as the Ninja A-League 2025-26 campaign gets underway.
