Canberra United return for another swing at silverware in 2025-26 and with captain and Ninja A-League all-time top scorer Michelle Heyman leading the line, Antoni Jagarinec’s side is capable of achieving anything this season.

Local product and fan favourite Sasha Grove has returned to Canberra after a stint at Western United; Grove is one of several experienced Ninja A-League campaigners signed by the club this season, along with Nanako Sasaki, Jazmin Wardlow, Ava Briedis and former Western United super sub Kiara De Domizio.

Canberra finished fifth last season but were knocked out of the Finals Series by eventual Champions Central Coast Mariners; they’ll hope to finish inside the top four in 2025-26 to avoid a road trip Elimination Final and increase their chances of going deeper in the post-season.
