Who are Brisbane Roar, Yuki Nagasato’s new team?
Brisbane Roar are located in Queensland and were founded in 2008 for the inaugural season of the Westfield W-League.

Who are this season’s Westfield W-League contenders?
Melbourne City are one of the favourites to win this Westfield W-League season 2018/19. The Melbourne-based club have won the last three Westfield W-League Championships.
Sydney FC are another strong contender. The Sky Blues have never missed a Westfield W-League finals series and were defeated in the Grand Final by City last season.
Brisbane Roar will also be in contention thanks to the signing of Yuki Nagasato, while Perth Glory could be in the hunt for the title with Australian striker Sam Kerr on their team.
Who are the Westfield W-League’s star players?
Australian international Sam Kerr signed the Westfield W-League’s first ever marquee contract for the upcoming campaign, and leads a long list of Australian national stars that will feature in the league.
This list also includes Lisa De Vanna, Chloe Logarzo, Alanna Kennedy, Clare Polkinghorne and Elise Kellond-Knight.
The Westfield W-League is blessed with a strong American presence, led by the likes of Perth Glory striker Rachel Hill and Newcastle Jets forward Katie Stengel.
