Westfield Matildas superstar Sam Kerr has secured a fresh honour for her bursting trophy cabinet by topping the Westfield W-League’s scoring charts for the first time.
Perth Glory might not have been in action during the final round of the regular season but that wasn’t enough to prevent their lethal striker from claiming the Golden Boot.
The 24-year-old finished with a stunning 13 goals – five of which came across her final two appearances – in just nine matches, more than half of Perth’s entire total.
She finished three clear of Newcastle Jets striker Katie Stengel (10 goals), while Glory teammate Rachel Hill netted nine in a successful first season in Australia.
Adelaide United’s Makenzy Doniak notched seven to finish ahead of Elise Thorsnes (Canberra United) and Natasha Dowie (Melbourne Victory), who grabbed six each.

In addition to her nine goals, American attacker Hill also provided a league-high six assists across 12 games.
Nicola Bolger was another key creative contributor for Glory, teeing up five goals in her 10 appearances.
Meanwhile, Ashleigh Sykes, Emily van Egmond, Angela Beard and Kyah Simon all rounded out the regular season with four assists to their credit.
ROAR KEEPER DOMINATES CLEAN SHEET COUNT
Westfield Matildas goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold played an instrumental role in Brisbane Roar’s charge to a third premiership.
The 23-year-old set a sturdy platform throughout the campaign, keeping six clean sheets and conceding only 12 goals in as many matches.
Fellow national team star Lydia Williams also maintained her excellent standards with five clean sheets in 10 games for Melbourne City.
