Sydney FC have re-signed a trio of teenagers with Caley Tallon-Henniker, Amber Luchtmeijer and Rubi Sullivan all re-committing to the club ahead of the Ninja A-League 2025-26 season.
Tallon-Henniker and Luchtmeijer have both signed two-season contract extensions with the Sky Blues, while 16-year-old Sullivan has inked a one-season deal to remain in the Harbour City.
For 19-year-old Tallon-Henniker, a contract extension comes after a breakout campaign at Sydney FC. The teenage winger took her Ninja A-League appearance tally to 29, starting 11 of her 19 games for the club.

The CommBank Young Matildas winger’s standout 2024-25 campaign was highlighted by a match-winning goal in the Sky Blues’ Sydney Derby triumph over Western Sydney Wanderers in November, 2024.
“I’m really happy to be staying with Sydney FC,” Tallon-Henniker said.
“It’s the perfect place for me to keep developing and pushing to become the best player I can be.”
Like Tallon-Henniker, 18-year-old forward Luchtmeijer has signed a two-year deal with the club after making 11 bench appearances in 2024-25.
“Sydney FC has given me an amazing platform to grow and improve,” she said. “I’m excited to continue that journey at a club that believes in young players.”

The teenage trio have joined standout young midfielder Shay Hollman in re-signing with Sydney FC in the current off-season as head coach Ante Juric begins to build his 2025-26 squad.
Shea Connors, Millie Farrow, Kyah Simon, Faye Bryson, Margaux Chauvet, Jasmine Black, Tahlia Franco and Beth Mason-Jones have all departed the club following the end of the 2024-25 season.
Having retained the services of Tallon-Henniker, Luchtmeijer and Sullivan, Juric expressed his excitement at what’s to come from the emerging teens.
“All three girls have shown excellent promise and progress during the past season and have grown as players,” Juric said.
“The future can be really bright for all of them. We’ve shown time and again how Sydney FC is able to fast-track young players’ careers through our belief and investment in them.
“I’m excited to watch them continue their development and to see their desire and commitment to win trophies and individual accolades in Sky Blue.”
