Sydney FC have pulled off a Ninja A-League coup, signing highly-rated American attacker Jodi Ulkekul for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign.
Described as “one of the signings of the Ninja A-League off-season”, Ulkekul arrives from USL Super League side Spokane Zephyr FC with a “glittering resume”.
The 28-year-old star’s career features spells in the United States, Spain (Castellon), and Italy (Roma), as well as time in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) with powerhouse OL Reign.

Ulkekul is also “expected to be one of the most accomplished forwards to arrive in the league in recent years”, with Ante Juric’s Sky Blues eyeing silverware this upcoming season.

She is the latest new face at Sydney FC after Heather Hinz, Amelia Cassar, Sofia Fante, Skye Halmarick, Claire Corbett, Willa Pearson, Bianca Galic and Tiahna Robertson.
Juric added: “Jodi is a high-quality player with a wealth of experience at some top clubs.
“She’s a direct and dynamic attacker, combining strength, speed, and versatility.
