Auckland FC head coach Steve Corica has been named April/May Coach of the Month in the Isuzu UTE A-League after a fan vote.
Corica won all six of the fan-voted Coach of the Month awards this season as he led Auckland FC to the 2024-25 Premiership.

Corica’s nomination came alongside Western United head coach John Aloisi, Brisbane Roar’s Ruben Zadkovich and Melbourne City’s Aurelio Vidmar. He earned the most votes of any of the four nominated coaches to take out the April/May award.
Corica was nominated for the April/May award via Football Coaches Australia’s monthly nomination process.
Australian Professional Leagues (APL) partnered with FCA in 2022-23 to give fans a crucial say in recognising outstanding coaching performances across both the Ninja A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men.
The FCA assembled an experienced panel that decide the monthly nominees for Coach of the Month in both leagues together; a fan vote then decided the winner from the monthly nominees.
The April/May eligibility period included Rounds 25-29 of the Isuzu UTE A-League season, with games between April 4 and May 5 considered by the FCA Panel when voting for the Coach of the Month nominees.
Corica oversaw five games in the eligibility period, including two wins, two draws and one defeat as Auckland cruised to the 2024-25 Premiership title, finishing five points above second-placed Melbourne City.
Auckland are set to sit out the first weekend of the Finals Series, and will play the lowest-ranked winner of the two Elimination Finals on May 9 and May 10.
Western United finished third and will host Adelaide United at Ironbark Fields on Friday, May 9 in the first Elimination Final. Then, fourth-placed Western Sydney Wanderers will host fifth-placed Melbourne Victory at CommBank Stadium on Saturday, May 10.
The highest-ranked Elimination Final winner will face Melbourne City in a two-legged Semi-Final, with Auckland meeting the lowest-ranked Elimination Final winner.
