Young Matildas star Sienna Saveska has earned the January/February nomination for the Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year award.
The 18-year-old has starred for Western Sydney Wanderers in her return season at the club and in February, lit up the PacificAus Four Nations Tournament with six goals in three games for the Young Matildas, including a hat-trick against Thailand and the Goal of the Tournament award.

Saveska earned the January nomination for Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year via a panel appointed by the Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The panel features an assortment of media representatives and technical football experts, who vote on a 3-2-1 basis at the conclusion of each nominated monthly period throughout the season.

Saveska has earned the fourth Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year nomination for 2024-25, following Sydney FC teenager Indiana Dos Santos’ January nomination, Canberra United midfielder Mary Stanic-Floody (October/November) and Melbourne City defender Alexia Apostolakis (December).
The teenage Wanderers talent is next in action this weekend as her side travel to Porirua Park to take on Wellington Phoenix in Round 18 of the Ninja A-League season.
