Melbourne Victory have announced 23-year-old Brazilian Clarismario Santos has signed a two-season contract extension with the club.
Santos joined Victory from Cypriot First Division side AEK Larnaca for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2024-25 campaign and played 26 times in his debut season in navy blue.
An academy graduate from Brazilian powerhouse Fluminense, Santos is eager to build off a Grand Final appearance in his first campaign at Victory after committing the next two years of his career to the club, in a deal that will see the young winger remain a Victory player until the end of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2026-27 campaign.

“I have loved my time at the club so far, playing in front of our wonderful fans, with a fantastic group of teammates and an exciting way of playing,” Santos said.
“While I am proud of our season last year, I am hungry to achieve more and be a big part of even more success, as we look to go one step further next season.”
Santos is the first player to have re-signed at Victory this off-season after several departures, including star duo Kasey Bos (Mainz) and Daniel Arzani (Ferencvarosi TC).
Upon confirmation of Santos’ two-season extension, Victory director of football John Didulica said there’s no doubt the Brazilian will improve at the club after missing the majority of pre-season heading into the 2024-25 campaign.
“Santos arrived just as the season was starting, and we saw him adapt quickly to the demands of the A-League and he brings great flair and creativity,” Didulica said.
“I have no doubt that his best football is ahead of him and he can entrench himself as one of the league’s most exciting and productive players.”
