Macarthur Bulls have signed former Melbourne City and Sydney FC full-back Callum Talbot on a multi-year deal.
Talbot, Macarthur’s first signing of the off-season, arrives from City where he lifted the Isuzu UTE A-League Championship trophy after a 1-0 Grand Final win over Melbourne Victory.
The 24-year-old former Olyroo spent three seasons at City after two terms with the Sky Blues, where he made his Isuzu UTE A-League debut in 2021.

Having tasted Championship success for the first time with City last season, Talbot arrives at Macarthur eager to secure more silverware as the Bulls get set to compete in both the Isuzu UTE A-League and the AFC Asian Champions League Two, following their 2024 Australia Cup triumph.
“It feels unreal to sign for the Bulls,” Talbot said.
“I’m really keen to get into training, meet all the boys and coaching staff, and just get started.
“I feel the Bulls really aligned with my personal goals and what I want to achieve for not only myself but (for) the club.
“I really liked the aggressive attacking style of play, that the club produced throughout the season. It was exciting to watch, and it’s what I wanted to be a part of.”
“I’m a hard-working full-back who loves to get up and down the flank. I am bringing my experience and the lessons I have learnt from my previous clubs.
“I want to win. After winning the Championship last season, I am chasing that feeling once again. I can definitely do that with the Bulls.”
Talbot’s arrival at the Bulls mitigates the loss of fellow fullback Ivan Vujica, who departed the club after three seasons.
