Mariners shade Wanderers at Marconi Stadium
Western Sydney Wanderers included Jaushua Sotirio and Nick Fitzgerald but their presence wasn’t enough to stop Central Coast Mariners from claiming a 2-1 victory.
Adam Berry’s opener and a Tass Mourdoukoutas own goal in the space of 18 second-half minutes gave the Mariners a two-goal advantage and they held on for a second win in three matches despite Oliver Puflett’s late consolation.
Congrats to our @Foxtel #YLeague boys who emerged as 2-1 winners over the @wswanderersfc Youth on Saturday! ??

Good, Spiranovic involved as City ease past Glory
The final match of the weekend saw Melbourne City bounce back from their defeat in Brisbane to outclass Perth Glory 3-0 in Western Australia.
Curtis Good and Matthew Spiranovic both gained precious minutes but the match was all about City, who went ahead early through Moudi Najjar and had Dylan Pierias and a Jayden Leader own goal to thank for making the points safe late on.
