Brisbane are going for Glory! Get along to Suncorp and Roar your team on to three crucial points as the season heads towards the home straight.

It-s Roar-s first home game of 2011, so why not help Ange Postecoglou-s young side start the year as they mean to go on? Book a ticket today for the game against Perth and help create the kind of atmosphere that will inspire the team to go all out for Glory. 2011 could turn out to be a truly fantastic year for Roar; be a part of it for the whole exciting journey!

If loyalty and the desire to witness a team that is well on their way to achieving great things wasn-t reason enough to make your way to Suncorp, then the added bonus is that this match-up with Perth Glory is sure to be an absolute thriller. The two occasions that the teams have gone head-to-head have offered unbelievable entertainment and excitement.

When the sides first locked horns this season, back in October, the high-paced action and drama was relentless from the first whistle to the last. Although Reinaldo silenced The Shed with a second-minute opener, they soon found their voices again as Scott Neville almost immediately cancelled it out.

Glory pushed on for the win but, devastatingly for the home crowd, it was Roar that stole the points at the death. Almost four minutes into stoppage time, substitute Rocky Visconte hit a dramatic winner.

If that match wasn-t exciting enough, then the last time the sides took each other on, at Suncorp in November, they brought it to the next level of awesomeness. Then, Glory – in the midst of a horrific run – contributed massively to the five-goal thriller, but still came away with nothing. This game had everything: goals galore, red cards, penalty kicks. If you wanted to demonstrate just how much entertainment the Hyundai A-League can offer, then this was the perfect advertisement.

Despite a frenzied first-half, the opening goal didn-t arrive until just before half-time though, with Jean Carlo Solorzano skipping two challenges, ducking past Glory stopper Tando Velaphi and slotting into an empty net. It was as the game approached its final third that it really exploded into life.

After Matthew Smith scored Roar-s second just five minutes later, Glory responded by bringing on Adriano Pellegrino and Robbie Fowler – not a bad pair of subs to introduce – and the changes worked immediately. After Luke DeVere handled in the box, Fowler slammed home the spot-kick.

Another penalty, at the other end, afforded Solorzano the chance to restore Roar-s two-goal advantage. It was an opportunity that he grabbed with both hands. There was more drama to follow, with Pellegrino scoring a stunning 25-yarder to give the visitors hope once again, but, having had two men sent-off, brave Glory were unable to grab an equaliser.

If Friday-s game is half as breathless as either of these titanic tussles, then the expected big crowd at Suncorp is in for a real treat. So, get your tickets today and be sure not to look away from the action for the slightest second.

A trip to the toilet or to buy some snacks could result in missing a couple of goals, some penalty drama or a red card or two. So, use the bathroom and stock up on food and drink before you take your seat, and then strap yourself in for 90-minutes of non-stop thrills and spills!
