INS AND OUTS: Star Western United striker, Adelaide veteran set to return for all-important clash at Coopers Stadium

Marco Tilio – Melbourne City

  • Price: $348K
  • Ownership: 4.7%
  • Three-round average: 11.3 points

Marco Tilio returned to scoring form with a vengeance last weekend.

The Melbourne City forward fired home two goals in their 4-1 win over Wellington Phoenix, tallying his highest Fantasy score of the season to date. Tilio’s 26 points was also the largest score among all players in Round 23, resulting in a handy $46.2K price rise for the Socceroos attacker.

Going into the final three rounds of the season and finals in head-to-head leagues, Tilio is certainly a player to consider if coaches are looking to turbocharge their attack.

Henry Hore – Brisbane Roar

  • Price: $391.5K
  • Ownership: 4.3%
  • Three-round average: 12.7 points

Brisbane Roar’s Henry Hore has quietly put together a very solid patch of form under interim coach Nick Green.

Hore has scored twice under Green’s tutelage, along with tallying assists against Macarthur FC and Western United. As a result, his Fantasy stocks have risen significantly during this patch, averaging 10.6 in his last five, along with 12.7 in the last three rounds.

Incredibly, only Craig Goodwin (19.7) and team-mate Jay O’Shea (19.0) have averaged more over the last three weeks among midfielders.

Marco Tulio – Central Coast Mariners

  • Price: $406.9K
  • Ownership: 6.3%
  • Three-round average: 10.3 points

Central Coast Mariners are humming again and Marco Tulio has had a major say in their turn in fortunes.

Tulio has roared back into form over the last few weeks, averaging 11.2 points in the previous five rounds, which includes goals against Macarthur and Brisbane Roar – along with a lovely assists for Jason Cummings in their 3-0 win over Western United last week.

For most of the season, the Brazilian has been a picture of consistency, totalling the third highest amount of points among midfielders (179 total points) – sitting only behind Goodwin (347) and O’Shea (241).

Jamie Maclaren – Melbourne City

  • Price: $316.8K
  • Ownership: 45.5%
  • Three-round average: 10 points

The drought is over.

Jamie Maclaren returned to goalscoring form last weekend with a brace against Wellington Phoenix, ending a five game barren run in-front of goals. Maclaren’s 23 points was in-fact his highest of the season to date and the first time he reached double digits in over a month (21 vs Sydney FC in February).

With the all-time record in sight (only two behind Besart Berisha) along with the Premier’s Plate, expect Maclaren to be coming home with a vengeance and he’s only priced at $316.8K.

It may be time to strike before his price surges again.

Jack Clisby – Perth Glory

  • Price: $477.4K
  • Ownership: 2.1%
  • Three-round average: 12 points

It’s been some run from Jack Clisby.

The Perth Glory defender has been the most consistent defender in A-Leagues Fantasy over the last five weeks, averaging a whopping 11.6 points. In fact, he hasn’t scored less than nine points since their 2-2 draw with Central Coast back in February.

Clisby’s price has rocketed to $477.4K, but if you can make up the extra bit of cash, he shapes as a nice replacement for Sydney FC defender Diego Caballo – who is out of action this weekend.
