Melbourne Victory land ‘exceptional talent’ as overhaul continues: ‘Elevates our team’

Melbourne Victory have continued their busy off-season with the signing of Australia youth international Matthew Grimaldi.

Grimaldi joins Victory for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025-26 season after Western United’s Club Participation Agreement (CPA) was placed in conditional hibernation for the upcoming campaign.

The “technically gifted” 21-year-old attacker has emerged as one of the competition’s top talents following a breakout 2023-24 campaign, with the Under-23 international scoring 10 league goals since his debut.
