Melbourne Victory have confirmed trio Fabian Monge, Alex Menelaou and Christian Siciliano will all leave the Isuzu UTE A-League club when their contracts expire this month.

Monge, 23, has been a key squad player for Victory across the last two seasons, playing 33 games in total and helping the side reach consecutive Grand Finals.

Whilst he may not have chalked up a first-team appearance, fellow midfielder Menelaou departs having played a key role within the club’s NPL set-up where Victory secured back-to-back promotions in the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

The 21-year-old also won the Victory Medal in 2023, an award handed out to the Academy’s best player.

Finally, goalkeeper Siciliano leaves the club having failed to breakthrough into the first team set-up but has certainly shown he’s got the qualities to succeed in the future given he was previously a recipient of the ‘Mitch Langerak Medal’ for best goalkeeper.

“Fabian, Christian and Alex have all been outstanding contributors to Melbourne Victory during their time here,” said Melbourne Victory’s Director of Football, John Didulica.

“On behalf of the club, we would like to thank them for their contribution to both the Academy and Senior teams since joining Victory and wish them all the very best for the future. They will always be welcome back to the Victory family.”

Victory are expected to make further announcements in the coming weeks regarding more player movement.
