Young Matildas and Sydney FC midfielder Maddie Caspers has earned the March nomination for the Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year award.
The 18-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Sky Blues this season.
Caspers has scored one goal and notched three assists throughout the campaign; nominated for Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the year after an excellent March, Caspers scored her first goal of the season in a 2-1 win over Wellington Phoenix during the month and assisted Shea Connors’ match-winning goal in a 3-2 win over Brisbane Roar.

Caspers was nominated via a panel appointed by the Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The panel features an assortment of media representatives and technical football experts, who vote on a 3-2-1 basis at the conclusion of each nominated monthly period throughout the season.
Caspers and the Sky Blues are next in action on Saturday, April 12 against Perth Glory at Leichhardt Oval.
