Four teams are level on points at the top of the table following a thrilling Round 5 in the Westfield W-League.

HONOURS EVEN AT LAKESIDE
Thunder and lightning above Lakeside Stadium caused play to be halted for thirty minutes during the first half of Friday night’s 1-1 draw between Victory and Western Sydney.
After the delay, Wanderers co-captain Erica Halloway opened the scoring, but Natasha Dowie squared the ledger for the home side just after the hour mark.
It was Dowie’s 14th Westfield W-League goal, drawing her level with Caitlin Friend at the top of the club’s all-time goalscoring list.
CANBERRA EDGE GLORY TO MOVE LEVEL
Canberra United joined Perth Glory at the top of the Westfield W-League ladder after beating them 3-2 at McKellar Park on Saturday.
Grace Maher opened the scoring for the home side before Glory’s red-hot striker Rachel Hill equalised on the stroke of half-time.
Second half goals from Amy Sayer and Laura Bassett gave Canberra breathing space and despite Alexia Moreno’s late strike for Glory, Canberra held on for their third straight victory.
JETS DO THE JOB DOWN SOUTH
Newcastle snapped a two-game losing streak and moved back into the top four after winning 2-1 at Adelaide United.
Katie Stengel and Tori Huster scored either side of the break for the Jets, before Katie Naughton’s header gave the Reds hope.
The win moves Newcastle to nine points, equal with three other sides in a logjam at the top of the table.
