Queensland Roar are the only Hyundai A-League team that the Mariners have yet to defeat at Bluetongue Stadium. In four previous matches in Gosford, the Roar have won two and drawn two.
The Roar are currently on a seven match undefeated away streak (against all teams); the last time Queensland lost away was a 2-3 defeat (in extra time) against Newcastle Jets in last season’s Preliminary Final at EnergyAustralia Stadium.

2005/06
One of the most memorable clashes of the first Hyundai A-League season occurred in Round 14, 2005/06, when Adelaide (1st) defeated Sydney (2nd) 3-2 at Hindmarsh Stadium, Japanese superstar Kazu Miura scoring both of Sydney-s goals, and Brazilian Fernando scoring a late winner for the Reds.
2006/07
One of the world-s greatest players of recent decades, Brazil-s Romario, played his first of four Hyundai A-League matches for Adelaide United in Round 14, 2006/07, as the Reds lost 0-2 away to Central Coast Mariners.
2007/08
Round 14, 2007/08 saw four draws in four matches – the only time this has ever happened in the Hyundai A-League.
