BROICH READY FOR NEXT CAREER STEP

“It has been a real thrill to engage with so many talented kids in nightly coaching sessions from Brisbane City’s academy, NPL teams and joining a session alongside John Kosmina’s first team,” Broich said.

“The technical and coaching staff at Brisbane City are some of the best I have seen and I am really looking forward to be able to contribute to the growth of junior skills and technical development at the club and across the wider game in Australia.

“Later this month I will be running a number of special clinics and camps at Brisbane City before heading off to Germany sometime in September to commence my initial UEFA coaching certifications.”

CITY EXCITED TO HAVE BROICH ABOARD

“Having a superstar like Thomas Broich playing a coaching role at Brisbane City, mentoring and nurturing our talent means as a club, we can further cement our contribution to growing the beautiful game in Australia,” City president David Asnicar said.

“Thomas will continue to work with our Academy, NPL teams and coaches in what remains of the current season.

“In the early stages, it’s important we support Thomas as he transitions to session planning and training frameworks associated with junior development compared to the very senior A-league or adult level experience.”
