North Queensland Fury will welcome back captain Ufuk Talay and attacking weapon David Williams from injury when they take on Adelaide United on Friday night.
Goal keeper Justin Pasfield is among other experienced players who will find themselves in contention for selection as Straka looks to play his strongest team.
However, the Fury will be without Gareth Edds, Simon Storey and Adam Casey due to illness and injury.
North Queensland Fury Assistant Coach Stuart McLaren said they were looking to rely on more experienced players to get the win.
“We need to just rely on some more experience like Akoto and Talay,” he said.
With Adelaide sitting in third position on the Hyundai A-League ladder, McLaren admitted that it was not going to be easy to get the win especially on Adelaide-s home turf.
“It’s going to be a tough match… a good Adelaide on their own patch,” he said.
“It was tough last time we went down there.”
With only three rounds remaining in the normal season every result is crucial for Adelaide who are still fighting for a top-three finish.
They will be looking to continue their form from their last game coming off a 4-1 win against Melbourne Victory away from home.
