It appears former Western Sydney Wanderers striker Tomi Juric is still doing his best to help out the club after they appointed Markus Babbel as their new head coach on Saturday.
In a massive coup for the Wanderers, the 51-cap German international has inked a three-year deal to be the main man at ‘Wanderland.’

Babbel brings a wealth of experience to the Wanderers, having coached in Germany with Hertha Berlin, Hoffenheim and Stuttgart, while most recently managing in Switzerland with FC Luzern.
And it was there where the 45-year-old first learned of the Hyundai A-League from Juric, who was his leading striker for Luzern.
“One of the biggest points why I came here to Sydney is because Tomi Juric was saying the crowds are totally crazy,” Babbel said at his press conference on Saturday.
“Switzerland was a good time there but the supporters are very quiet and not so many in the stadium.
“Now I’m looking for good support and to see what is possible with the team.”
Babbel said thanked the Wanderers for putting faith in him to lead the club and said he was eager to get started with his new challenge.
And he declared he has ambitions to take the Wanderers back to the top.
“The vision here is to have big success,” Babbel said.
“I know it isn’t an easy league but we want to be on the top.
“It wasn’t a difficult decision to come to the Wanderers, I am looking forward to the challenge.
“I said to my wife, I have a good feeling about this and I’m ready for a new experience and I would like to say thank you for the club for trusting in me.”
Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas added: “It’s clear Markus is an incredible talent.
“He’s coached at the highest level in Germany and we’re very proud to have him at the club.
“The way Mark thinks equates with how we see our club.
“There is a lot of synergy in terms of what we presented and how he saw things.”
