The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have announced two fixture changes for this weekend’s A-Leagues action.
Due to hot temperatures forecasted in Sydney on Sunday, Macarthur FC’s clash with Melbourne City has been moved from a 3pm kick-off to 7pm (AEDT) at Campbelltown Stadium.
Meanwhile, Western Sydney Wanderers’ meeting with Brisbane Roar in the Liberty A-League has also been pushed back from 4pm to 7pm (AEDT) at Wanderers Football Park.
Melbourne Victory’s clash with Central Coast Mariners in the Isuzu UTE A-League will not be affected, with kick-off time remaining at 5pm (AEDT), but will now be shown as the featured game on 10 Bold.
The decision was made due to the likelihood of the APL’s Heat Policy thresholds being exceeded at the originally scheduled kick-off times and to give the clubs time to prepare accordingly – along with all other stakeholders including fans and broadcast crews.
