Sydney FC star Indiana Dos Santos has been dealt a devastating injury blow after confirmation she has ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
The 17-year-old is now set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering the knee injury whilst taking part in a training camp with the Future Matildas program last week.
Whilst Sydney FC endured a difficult campaign in the Ninja A-League finishing eighth, Dos Santos shone at times for the Sky Blues and was named Boost Mobile Young Footballer of the Year for the 2024-25 season.

“Here is a chapter I didn’t see coming,” said Dos Santos when revealing the news via Instagram.
“I’m gutted to share the news that unfortunately I’ve ruptured my ACL and while it’s devastating, I find strength in my faith.
“I believe in God’s plan, even when I don’t understand it. This journey won’t be easy, but with the love and support I have around me I can accomplish anything!
