Čančar becomes the 10th player to have departed Newcastle this off-season following on from the likes of defender Dane Ingham, goalkeeper Ryan Scott and Brazilian import Wellisol as the club begins to shape it’s squad for new head coach Mark Milligan.

A key component to Milligan’s new-look side is likely to be Japanese winger Kota Mizunuma, who has signed a new one-year contract to stay on in the Hunter for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025-26 season.
