Semi Final Ins and Outs: City gun returns, Adelaide face selection headache

The teams are IN ahead of the second leg Semi Finals set to confirm the two teams that will compete in the 2022-23 Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final.

Adelaide United travel to Gosford to face Central Coast on Saturday, May 20 after a 2-1 defeat to the Mariners in leg one. The Mariners name an unchanged lineup for this weekend’s clash, whilst the Reds confirm striker Hiroshi Ibusuki will miss out with a calf injury.

Premiers Melbourne City, meanwhile, welcome Socceroos midfielder Aiden O’Neill back into the mix for their second-leg clash with Sydney FC at AAMI Park on Friday, May 19. The midfielder missed the 1-1 draw at Allianz Stadium last weekend, with head coach Rado Vidosic revealing in post-match O’Neill had suffered from a spasm in his back the build-up, and couldn’t travel.
