Melbourne City have signed Kosovo international Elbasan Rashani for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025-26 season.
Rashani joins reigning champions City for their title defence while they also compete in the AFC Champions League Elite this term.
The 32-year-old versatile winger arrives from Spain, where he played a role in Elche’s promotion to LaLiga in 2024-25.

Rashani brings a wealth of experience to City, having spent more than a decade in Europe, playing for Danish giants Brondby, Norwegian powerhouse Rosenborg and France’s Clermont among others.
The 29-time Kosovo international, who has featured regularly alongside former City star Valon Berisha for his country – scoring five goals, won four trophies at Rosenborg – including two league titles.

Rashani is City’s final visa signing for 2025-26, having recruited Japanese star Takeshi Kanamori (Avispa Fukuoka), while re-signing Frenchman Samuel Souprayen and already boasting Austrian midfielder Andreas Kuen and Argentinian defender German Ferreyra.
