Melbourne Victory have signed American striker Kennedy White for the Ninja A-League 2025-26 season.
The 25-year-old joins the club from Hungarian First Division side Győr ETO FC, where she bagged a staggering 32 goals and 17 assists in the 2024-25 campaign.
White lifted the Hungarian Cup with ETO in 2024; it was the latest in a string of trophies secured by the young American after a glittering college career split across Bowling Green State University and Mississippi State University.

Ahead of her move Down Under, White expressed her excitement at the prospect of linking up with “arguably the biggest and best club in the league.”
“I’m incredibly excited to be heading to Australia for the upcoming (Ninja) A-League season,” White said.
“As a player, it’s always a privilege to be joining big clubs with a passionate following and I know Victory is arguably the biggest and best club in the league both on and off the pitch.
“Coming off success in Europe, my goal is to bring my best football each week, and contribute alongside my teammates so together we can continue achieving the goals for our members and fans that we know this group is capable of.”
White is the second new arrival at the club following Taylor Ray’s move to Victory from Central Coast Mariners.
The striker bolsters a Victory squad impacted by the departure of Emily Gielnik, Alex Chidiac, Alana Murphy, Sara D’Appolonia and Lydia Williams (retired), while Alana Jancevski, Sofia Sakalis, Holly Furphy, Courtney Newbon, Rachel Lowe, Nicki Flannery, Laura Pickett and Ella O’Grady have all re-signed ahead of the Ninja A-League 2025-26 campaign.

“Melbourne Victory is thrilled to have Kennedy joining our senior women’s football program for 2025-26,” said Victory head coach Jeff Hopkins.
“Having fallen just short of our goal last season, we are determined to go one step further this year and secure silverware in 2026. Having a player of Kennedy’s calibre joining our ranks is important to helping support the team do so.
“With success in the A-League, it’s expected that some of our biggest talents would seek opportunities overseas, but it’s also an opportunity for us to bring in new players that can add depth and dimension to our core group.
“I have no doubt that Kennedy will bring a fast and exciting style of football to the pitch and is a great addition as we aim to break records again this season.”
