Perth Glory have secured the services of 23-year-old Australian striker Jaiden Kucharski on a two-year deal.
The Sydney FC academy graduate already has 62 Isuzu UTE A-League appearances to his name, accumulated across a three-season stint in the Sky Blues’ senior squad.
Kucharski departed Sydney FC in the off-season to join Western United, but after agreeing to the mutual termination of his contract at the club on August 19, the young striker has found a new home in Perth for the next two Isuzu UTE A-League seasons.

Set to wear the number nine in Perth, Glory’s new young forward is eager to make his presence felt in an attack spearheaded by Socceroos star and club captain Adam Taggart.
“Coming to Perth was the best option for me,” he said.
“Me knowing the coaches here and the playing style, plus the love around the club and the fanbase, I think it will all suit my game very nicely.
“First of all, my goal is to try and solidify a starting spot and then score as many goals as I can, get some assists and just work hard to help the team succeed and win games.
“This club is massive and I want to help us push for finals and for silverware.
“If we can make HBF Park a fortress, it’ll be amazing, especially if a lot of fans come out to support us and I’d love to have my name being called out for scoring goals and helping to win games.”

Kucharski’s move to Perth sees the young forward reunite with David Zdrilic, Glory’s head coach and former assistant coach at Sydney FC.
The young, versatile forward with seven Isuzu UTE A-League goals to his name is Glory’s seventh new arrival of the off-season after Brian Kaltak, Sam Sutton, Scott Wootton, Callum Timmins, Mark Birighitti and Arion Sulemani.
Glory football director Stan Lazaridis explained how the club managed to secure Kucharski’s services on a two-year deal, with several rival Isuzu UTE A-League clubs circling for his signature.
“A host of other A-League sides were chasing Jaiden’s signature, so we’re thrilled that we managed to complete this deal,” Lazaridis said.
“He is a hugely talented and versatile young forward who is equally dangerous playing out wide or down the middle and has great technical ability.
“Our head coach David Zdrilic knows Jaiden well from their time together at Sydney FC and he is a perfect fit for the dynamic style of football David is looking to implement.
“With his pace and flair, he is also exactly the kind of player our members and fans will love watching and I’m very excited to see him showcase his talents in purple this season and beyond.”
