Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana says the passion of Australian fans has him pumped for the Reds’ massive tour Down Under against Adelaide United and Brisbane Roar FC this July.
Lallana will be part of the full-strength Liverpool squad which will play matches across Australia as part of their pre-season preparations.
Sellout crowds are expected at both Suncorp Stadium and Adelaide Oval to get a glimpse at the likes of Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge, Phillippe Coutinho and Mario Balotelli.

“Anyone will say that when you play in a full stadium, with the atmosphere it gives you that little bit extra, especially when the fans are making noise,” Lallana told LFCTour.com.
“There are all different types of atmospheres and I’m sure playing in Malaysia and Australia, they’ll have their own type of atmosphere.
“It being full would create a good vibe, a good atmosphere to play in.”
A crowd of 95,000 packed the MCG to see Brendan Rodgers’ side two years ago.
Lallana wasn’t a Liverpool player at that time but admitted that experience at the MCG – and the rendition of the club’s anthem ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ – is still spoken about around Anfield.
“They said that the support for the team is quite remarkable and that you couldn’t really put it into words,” the England international said.
”You have to experience a tour for yourself. So I’m delighted we’re going again this summer, in July.
“I got a taster [on the American tour] last summer, we were in various different states and the support was vast.
“A lot of the lads say it’s a different level over in Australia and Malaysia, so I’m fully expecting packed out stadiums.
“They refer to the MCG, where there were 95,000 there, so it’s going to be exciting.”
