Macarthur FC have it all to prove when they host Western Sydney Wanderers at Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday night, after a disappointing showing in Matchweek 6.
The Bulls lost 3-0 to Sydney FC at home last time out, with a red card to Mark Milligan for a silly first-half challenge on Trent Buhagiar setting the Bulls up for failure against the Champions.
But Ante Milicic’s side have the opportunity to regain their footing with a win against the Wanderers, a feat they managed in Matchweek 1 thanks to a Beñat Etxebarria free-kick which deflected off Milligan’s back and into the net.
The Bulls have won just one game in the fixtures following their inaugural A-League appearance – a 2-1 victory over Newcastle Jets.
The Wanderers, meanwhile, are third on the A-League table after a relatively solid start to the 2020/21 campaign. Robinson’s are undefeated following their Matchweek 1 loss to Macarthur, notching two draws and two wins from their following four games leading into their rematch with the Bulls in Matchweek 7.
