Sydney FC defender Michael Zullo paid tribute to marquee striker Bobo after the Brazilian’s eye-catching display on Friday night against Brisbane Roar.
The Sky Blues ended 2016 with an impressive 2-0 win over Brisbane at Allianz Stadium.

The win made it 13 rounds this season unbeaten for Graham Arnold’s men in front of over 16,000 fans.
Goals to skipper Alex Brosque and Milos Ninkovic confirmed the win for the league leaders as they moved ten points clear of their rivals ahead of the four remaining matches in Round 13.
But it was Bobo who caught the eye with his intelligent play as a central striker, holding up the ball and assisting in both goals with clever passes.
“He’s endured a bit of criticism as every marquee does when they come to Australia,” an elated Zullo told Fox Sports.
“But he’s settling in well now, he’s working hard and I think he’s reaping rewards.”
The Sky Blues captain Brosque blotted his copybook with a second yellow after 65 minutes.
But the 10-man Sydney held on for the final 25 minutes to confirm the win against their Queensland rivals as the unbeaten run continues.
“It’s up there,” added Zullo of the overall display.
“Today we showed a lot of character as well as a bit of class. We were working well as a unit and we earned the three points.
“Another clean sheet and we finished the year well. Couldn’t ask for any more.”
