Young striker Apostolos Stamatelopoulos will leave Adelaide United at the end of the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old signed a two-year scholarship contract with the Reds in 2017 and has gone on to make 16 appearances in the Hyundai A-League.
Stamatelopoulos, an Australian U/20 representative, has scored two goals for the Reds, including one in a 3-0 win over the Central Coast Mariners earlier this season.
“Adelaide United thanks Apostolos for his hard work during his time with us and wishes him the best for his future,” the Reds said in a statement on the club’s official website.

It’s understood the talented teenager is likely to sign with Hyundai A-League’s newest franchise Western United.
