Wellington Phoenix have confirmed that young defender Dylan Fox has left the club with immediate effect after his contract was mutually terminated on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old had made just six appearances under Mark Rudan in the Hyundai A-League this season.
Fox last featured for the club in their Round 20 clash against Sydney FC in Campbelltown but was stretchered from the field with a serious ligament injury in his ankle.
Coming to the end of his three-year deal, it was decided the Sutherland Sharks product would depart the Phoenix now.
