Former Melbourne City head coach Rado Vidosic has been appointed as women’s and girls’ head of coaching at Women’s Super League (WSL) side Brighton and Hove Albion.
Rado Vidosic, who was last head coach of City’s Isuzu UTE A-League side in 2023 having spent four years in charge of the Ninja A-League outfit, joins his son Dario at Brighton.
Dario Vidosic – a retired Socceroo – is head coach of Brighton after arriving from reigning Ninja A-League premiers City at the start of the 2024-25 WSL campaign.

“This is an unbelievable opportunity and one that I’m really looking forward to. I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and help as much as I can,” said Rado, who led City to the 2022-23 Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final.
“I’m so proud of what Dario and the wider coaching team have achieved so far, I’m here to provide guidance and help where I can.”
Rado Vidosic also guided City to the 2020 Ninja A-League Championship – a side that boasted CommBank Matildas stars Steph Catley, Emily van Egmond, Kyah Simon, Ellie Carpenter and Kyah Simon.
Dario Vidosic has impressed since taking charge of Brighton, who are fifth in the WSL standings this season.

“We’ve worked together previously at Melbourne City, and clearly he has had a huge influence on my career,” said Dario.
“I know first-hand the qualities he possesses which can help get the very best out of the players.
“He is a talented coach with a great depth of knowledge of the game and I have no doubt he will be incredibly influential in our aspirations to be successful for the remainder of the season and beyond.”
