Who is entitled to enter the competition (the “Entry Requirements”)? |
Entry is open to all ordinary Australian persons over 16 years of age who reside in Australia (“Eligible Entrants”). Entrants under 18 years of age must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this competition. |
Who is not allowed to enter the competition (the “Ineligible Entrants”)? |
Employees and contractors of FFA or NAB associated with the competition and immediate family members of employees and contractors associated with the competition. Entrants under 16 years of age at the time of entry. |

When will the competition run (the “Competition Period”)? |
The competition commences on 19/04/2017 at 12am AEST and closes 27/04/2017 at 5pm AEST (the “Competition Period”). |
What is the maximum number of entries per Entrant (the “Maximum Number of Entries”)? |
Maximum number of Entries is two (2), entrants may vote once for A-League and once for W-League. |
How will the winners and runners up be chosen (the “Entry Criteria”)? |
Valid entries will be judged on their creativity, imagination and originality. The winner will be the entry that the judging panel determine to be the most creative, creative and original. |
What is the value of each prize? |
There will be one prize valued at $5,000. |
What are the details of each prize (the “Prize”)? |
There is one (1) prize of $5,000. |
How are prizes to be claimed? |
The Prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated Australian bank account via electronic funds transfer. Accordingly, the winner will be required to provide details of that bank account to FFA and/or National Australia Bank Limited (NAB). |
What is the total value of all prizes (the “Total Prize Pool”)? |
$5,000 (incl GST) |
How and when will the winner(s) be notified (the “Notification Method” and “Notification Date”)? |
Winner will be notified in writing (by email) and by phone by FFA on Monday 1 May, 2017. |

Conditions of Entry
- These Conditions of Entry must be read together with the Schedule. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.
- Entry is open to residents of the Applicable State/s who comply with the Entry Requirements (if any). Entries submitted by Ineligible Entrants are not accepted. If entry is permitted to persons under 18, those entrants must first obtain consent of their parent or guardian. If the competition winner is under 18 at the time of the draw, the prize will become the property of the guardian only.
- The competition will be run during the Competition Period.
- The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable. If a winner does not take a part of the Prize at the time set by FFA, the winner will forfeit that part. FFA accepts no responsibility for changes in Prize value. If a Prize is unavailable, FFA will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.
- To enter, entrants must follow the Entry Method, noting any Entry Details, and submit their entries during the Competition Period.
- Entrants may only submit up to the Maximum Number of Entries.
- All valid entries will be entered into the competition. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. FFA has no control over telecommunications networks and accepts no responsibility for problems associated with them. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt into FFA’s database, not at the time of transmission. Entries submitted using any form of automated entry device or software are ineligible. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry will be deemed invalid. FFA accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, tampering, theft, destruction failure or otherwise.
- The best valid entry as determined by the judges according to the Entry Criteria will win the Prize described in the Schedule. The Total Prize Pool is set out in the Schedule.
- This is a Game of Skill and chance plays no part in determining winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged on the basis of the Entry Criteria. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- All entries will become FFA’s property. Each entry must be the entrant’s original work and entrants agree that FFA may make copies of or publish their entry in any form or media. Entrants warrant that their entry is not, and its use by FFA will not be, in breach of any person’s intellectual property rights or any other rights.
- In consideration for awarding a Prize to a winner, winners agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the Prize and consent to their name and image being used in promotional material without payment.
- Entrants acknowledge that there may be some inherent risks in some aspects of using the Prize and that it is their responsibility to ensure that they are sufficiently healthy and fit so as to undertake activities associated with the Prize. It is a condition of accepting such Prize that upon request the winner will sign a legal release in favour of FFA and/or the issuer of the Prize and the agencies associated with the competition.
- Winners will be notified on the Notification Date by the Notification Method described in the Schedule.
- FFA may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated Prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of FFA.
- Prizes must be claimed by the Prize Claim Date and Time otherwise that winner will forfeit the Prize and FFA will distribute the Prize to the next best valid entry that has not already received a Prize. Where a Prize is no longer available, for example, because the date of an event has passed, the new Prize winner will receive a Prize as determined by FFA of equal or higher value.
- FFA does not warrant and makes no representations that any Prize will be fit for any purpose or will be of merchantable quality. If liability under any terms implied at law cannot be excluded, the liability of FFA and its associated agencies is limited to the re-supply of the Prize or the cost of its re-supply.
- If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion is affected for any reason, FFA may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, change or suspend the competition. FFA may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the competition or who has, in FFA’s opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of FFA or has breached these Conditions of Entry.
- FFA will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the Prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
- FFA accepts no responsibility for the tax implications of Prize winnings. If entry is limited to FFA employees and contractors and the Prize value is over $2000, FFA will pay any FBT payable on Prize winnings. Where the total of benefits (including Prizes) received by an entrant during an FBT year exceeds $2000, this amount is required to be grossed-up and reported on their payment summary. Winners should obtain independent tax advice to determine how this may affect their circumstances.
- The personal information entrants provide will be used by FFA, and may be disclosed to its agents, solely to conduct the competition and distribute the Prize. By participating in the promotion, each entrant also acknowledges that a further primary purpose for collection of entrants’ personal information by FFA is to enable FFA to use the information to assist FFA in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with information on special offers or provide entrants with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages. By entering this competition, the entrant further acknowledges and agrees that FFA may share information with its Australian related companies and promotional partners who may contact entrants with special offers in this way.
