Melbourne Victory have signed Brendan White as an injury replacement player for injured goalkeeper Matthew Acton.
White, 27, made his Hyundai A-League debut for Brisbane Roar last season, playing four matches in the injury absence of first-choice Jamie Young.
He has since been playing for NPL Victoria team Heidelberg United, who won the Premiership in 2019.
White has been named in Marco Kurz’s extended squad to face Western United this Saturday evening at Marvel Stadium alongside fellow custodians Lawrence Thomas and Matthew Sutton.
He will wear kit no. 50 for Victory.
Victory ‘keeper Acton, also 27, dislocated his left shoulder in mid-September and faces approximately another five months on the sideline.
