Which three imports should Victory pick for the 2018 AFC Champions League?

The start of the 2018 AFC Champions League group stage is just a month away meaning clubs must start finalising their squads for the tournament.

And with four imports on the books of Melbourne Victory, coach Kevin Muscat must decide who will fill the three visa spots allowed for the ACL.

Victory’s imports include Argentine midfielder Matias Sanchez, prolific striker Besart Berisha, Kiwi winger Kosta Barbarouses and Dutch playmaker Leroy George.

We’re giving fans the chance to play coach and vote for which three players they believe Victory should use for the group stage.

BESART BERISHA

The Hyundai A-League’s greatest-ever scorer is Victory’s main striker and with goals going to be crucial to the Big V’s hopes of progression, can Muscat afford to leave Berisha out?

KOSTA BARBAROUSES

The Kiwi international had a slow start to the campaign but appears to be hitting form at the right time, scoring three goals in his last four Hyundai A-League appearances.

LEROY GEORGE

Arguably Victory’s most consistent player this season, the Dutchman’s speed, trickery and delivery from all over the pitch means he’ll be hard to leave out.

MATIAS SANCHEZ

The highly-rated midfielder has struggled to hold down a consistent spot in Victory’s starting XI and with Terry Antonis recently joining the club, his spot could be at risk.
